Programming the Universal Remote Control

Programming the universal remote control that you just bought can be a tricky job. Although not your traditional dirty job, to program your universal remote control, you must know that you will need to see a guide that you can find in the manual that came when you bought the universal remote control itself.

When you are sure that you have the manual remote control guide, you have to go look for the guide to the programming of your specific television brand. Remember that to do this you have to be sure that you are looking at the right guide to the brand of your television. A Sharp television universal remote control programming guide will not work with a Sony TV so, this you have to be sure.

After knowing what specific brand of television you are programming your universal remote control, you must seek the number codes. There a lot of number codes for each TV brand so you must make a list for what are available for your TV before you start. You cannot risk the time to spend looking into the codes when you are in the process so make that list where you can look into in the middle of process. Next thing to do is to try each of the codes and if all of those fails, there is a reserve general code for the universal remote control. This is the usual trend but if what you bought does not have it. return it to where you bought it in exchange for another brand typs.

Secrets to Audio Speaker Repair

Audio speaker repair is a very technical and simple job to assume but in fact it is a very important process to undergo by the speaker repair man or the electronic technician. The point to this however is that the different processes of audio speaker repair can be so confusing most of the times especially if you do not know any of the biggest secrets to do it. So the purpose of this post is to help you guys out there and other audio speaker repair enthusiasts to understand that even simple as it seem, audio speaker repair can be a hard and tricky task to do.

Assuming that you are out to repair speakers by rewinding, here are a few simple pointers in order to help you understand what you are up to when you attempt to repair your audio speakers. First you must make sure that you have a small cardboard placed over the small slit between the magnets of your speaker, just below where the spider is located. To do this you have to of course remove the cone first and see the slit. Remember that this is done when you are out to replace the speaker winding or when you are to do a rewinding job.

After putting a small cardboard to the slits, you must wipe the slits clean with it. Do this in a motion of circular movements until you are sure that there is none of the smallest dust left within the slits in the magnet or that there is no more sticky substance caused sometimes by burned audio speaker winding.

After this, you have to make sure that you have the right or the exact number of turns of the same size of coil to use for rewinding the voice coil. Note that it is extremely important to be sure that you are using the same diameter in your cardboard for the frame of the coil. This rewinding process will have a problem if you are not sure that you are following this procedure and this is one of the most important step in rewinding your audio speakers.

After the rewinding process is through, you have to make sure that you are using the special clear epoxy for your put back of the cone and the edges of the audio speakers. Remember that after putting in the cone of the speaker, you have to make sure that when you try to feel the vibration of the speakers, there is nothing hindering the said vibration or that you are not hearing some scratches below the speaker coil to the sides of the slits in the magnet. If this is the case you have to repeat the procedure and make sure that you are using the right diameter in your voice coil frame before you start winding the coil.

Coin Drop Sensors/Coin Fall Sensors and Sound Detectors

Coin Drop sensors are electronic circuits used in detecting sound in any appliance or machine. Usually, it is used for amusement machines where they are mostly in maximum use for what is called as coin operated amusement machines. Some regular electronics professionals in the amusement industry however would love to call them coin fall sensor.

These coin fall sensors, for a fact are circuits that have sensitivity in their internal design. This is an essential part of it, otherwise, they wouldn't be called with their name, coin drop sensors or coin fall sensors. I found some circuits have a special adjustment that maintains or help limit the sensitivity of the circuit to effects on sound input. This sound input is from the fall of a coin, hence, the name coin fall sensor.

Aside their manual adjustments, a coin fall sensor may have the advantage of positioning. The position of the microphone will always be a good way to achieve the right sensitivity when times of difficulty in adjusting the sensitivity within its circuits arise.

Talking about microphones, this is a special sensitive microphone that is placed as the sound detector for the coin fall sensor because it is necessary to feed the input circuit of the coin fall sensor circuit as a whole in order to activate the sensitivity which is adjusted depending upon the set-up needed by the technician or the requirement of the machine.
